For Founders
Three ways we help founders raise, depending on where you are.
Everything below is vetted. There is a call before you can take a paid slot, and we turn founders down — which is the only reason the investors keep turning up.
Pitch to investors, face to face
Our monthly Speed Pitch puts six to eight founders in a room with at least fifteen active investors in central London. Six minutes with each, one to one, no slides and no screens.
Within 48 hours you have written feedback from every investor you met, unedited, and an introduction to anyone who wants to take it further.
£1,500 + VAT for one event, £2,000 + VAT for two, plus a 5% success fee on what you raise from investors you meet through us. Investors attend free.
If no investor asks for a follow-up, your next Speed Pitch is free.
For founders raising £200,000 or more, in market now, with at least a working product.
Pitch on stage, by invitation
Every two months we put six founders in front of three judges and a room of investors, founders and people from across the sector.
It is free for the founders who pitch, and it is by invitation. Places go to the best pitchers we have seen in the previous two months, which in practice means they come from the Speed Pitches.
The winner’s story goes to our investor list, to our newsletter of around 10,000 founders and investors, and to roughly 35,000 people on LinkedIn.
Raising £1m or more
A room of angels is the right room for a pre-seed or seed round. A larger raise needs a process — a target list, the materials, managed outreach and someone negotiating on your side.
Our sister company Alator Capital does that. Its principals have led transactions totalling over £170 million.
Not sure which?
Apply anyway. The form takes about two minutes and asks seven questions — what you are building, how much you are raising, when, and where your revenue is. We will tell you which room you belong in, and say so if the answer is none of them yet.
